The Newcomers Club/Women of The Woodlands / WoW! welcomes any woman living within the boundaries of The Woodlands. Members enjoy being involved with others in our growing community, building lasting friendships, and creating special memories — all while having fun! The Club is led by an active and engaged Board of Directors. Activity Chairpersons lead our many and varied activities and are eager to tell you more about Newcomers WoW and our activities.

Currently, we offer more than 30 informal, fun activities, with more popping up as interest arises. Activities are held in the daytime, evening, and weekends to accommodate all schedules and interests. Many of these gatherings welcome your spouse and guests, although as a rule, most activities are for our members only.

For your benefit as a member, The Newcomers Club/WoW issues a monthly newsletter. From September through June, we’ll keep you informed of current and upcoming activities. The current newsletter is available to members on the Members Tab. We also send periodic eBlasts to our members’ email that reminds them of upcoming special events and luncheons.

You can join Newcomers WoW at any time each year (June – May), renewing your membership each year.

About Newcomers WoW! We have a working Board

Board members arrange meetings, programs, and special events. Publications handle the newsletter, the directory, and our website. As well as connecting with our membership, we also handle many behind-the-scenes tasks for entertainment that make the club work. Our committed board, shown above, meets once a month throughout the year.
